Out spoken media personality Khadine Hylton, popularly known as "Miss Kitty", decided to defend one of Jamaica's biggest cultural figures Louise Bennett-Coverley after insinuations were made by Ishawna that the now deceased icon's attire was similar to a 'table cloth'.

During her hosting duties on the 25th staging of Reggae Sumfest, Miss Kitty whiled decked out in her bandana outfit decided to rise to Ms Lou's defence by saying "Nuh dish towel caan dis Miss Lou".

She later posted on her Instagram account, a photo of her in her cultural outfit with the caption "Celebrating the Jamaican working women in the Madras cloth, also called the Bandana. Did you know the #Bandana was worn as a mark of #pride and distinction, particularly among market vendors? And is a tradition that continues today, especially worn during the Independence holidays honouring local #talent and #ingenuity, from #poets and #performers to #entertainers and #musicians, all a part of the #JamaicanCulture expressed in song and dance."
