BCCI has announced cash award to Indian women cricket team after reaching in the final of ICC Women World Cup 2017. BCCI said "it will reward each player Rs 50 lakh while the support staff will receive Rs 25 lakh. Earlier, BCCI had congratulated the team for defeating Australia in the semi-final. "The Board of Control for Cricket in India hailed the performance of Team India after the team made it to the final of ICC Women's World Cup 2017," the Indian cricket board's acting secretary Amitabh Choudhary said. "The BCCI would also like to wish the Indian team the very best for the Final match against England on Sunday, July 23rd," Choudhary added.
