Billboard names Ariana Grande 'Gay Icon'

Billboard magazine thinks Ariana Grande is the 'gay icon' this generation needs. Earlier this week, the magazine published an article listing eight reasons the pop diva deserves the title. But queer fans and music lovers remain divided. Billboard cited her single 'Break Free' as a gay anthem, her support of gay brother Frankie Grande and her 2015 performance at New York City LGBT Pride as reasons for her new title.
