A brief but torrential rainstorm battered Yangcheng County in north China's on Tuesday, leaving flooded streets and submerged vehicles in its wake.

Amateur videos of the flash flood, showed the floodwater exceeding one meter in some areas. The floodwater rushed down the streets to low-lying areas, washing away motorbikes and automobiles.
