Senator Celebrates ‘Made In America Week’ With A ‘Trump Putin 16’ Hat

In honor of President Trump’s ‘Made in America Week,’ Democratic Senator Ted Lieu wore a red hat reading "Trump Putin 16."

President Trump kicked off ‘Made in America Week’ Monday by welcoming U.S. manufacturers and the goods they produce to Washington, D.C.
Democratic Senator Ted Lieu of California celebrated the event in his own way, reports Newsweek.
He posted a photo of him wearing a red "Trump Putin 16" hat to Twitter on Tuesday.
Lieu included the comment, “Wearing this special hat for @WhiteHouse #MadeInAmericaweek. Unlike the products of @realdonaldtrump & @ivankatrump, it's Made in America!”
Both the president and his daughter have been criticized for reportedly having their merchandise made outside the U.S.
Many on Twitter were quite receptive to Lieu’s hat and his jab.
One of them wrote, “Your shade game is on point and I admire the heck out of you, Sir. Thank you for your service to our country.”
Other responses included, “Brilliant, Ted! Where can I get one?,” and, “I think that ticket is the other way around!”
