Trump Blames 'All Of The Democrats And A Few Republicans' For GOP Bill Outcome

President Trump shared his thoughts on Twitter after the GOP health care bill effectively stalled Monday night.

President Trump is speaking out on Twitter after the GOP health care bill failed to gain enough support in the Senate. In a series of tweets Tuesday morning, he said, "We were let down by all of the Democrats and a few Republicans. Most Republicans were loyal, terrific & worked really hard. We will return!" and "As I have always said, let ObamaCare fail and then come together and do a great healthcare plan. Stay tuned!"
Hours later, Trump continued, "With only a very small majority, the Republicans in the House & Senate need more victories next year since Dems totally obstruct, no votes!"
He also wrote, "The Senate must go to a 51 vote majority instead of current 60 votes. Even parts of full Repeal need 60. 8 Dems control Senate. Crazy!"
His tweets come after two more Republican senators, Mike Lee and Jerry Moran, announced their opposition to the GOP proposal Monday night, effectively stalling the bill.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has called for a vote to repeal Obamacare while noting that the replacement will be delayed.
