Tear gas & stones: Argentinian police evicts fired factory workers

Hundreds of police officers clashed with former workers at a closed PepsiCo plant, as well as activists, in Florida, a neighborhood of Buenos Aires, on Thursday, after they tried to evict some former employees who were refusing to leave the premises in protest against the layoffs. The police officers fired tear gas at the workers who retaliated with stones. According to the Security Ministry, 15 workers and 15 police officers were injured during the clashes. Several protesters were detained.
