First same-sex Muslim wedding takes place in the U.K.
Jahed Choudhury and Sean Rogan have tied the knot in the world's first Muslim same-sex marriage. The two men fell in love when Sean comforted Jahed after finding him distraught, crying on a bench. They experienced harmful harassment from their communities and peers growing up. The grooms wed on June 22, dressed in traditional Bangladeshi attire. They want their experience to inspire other members of the Muslim LGBTQ+ community to embrace their identities.
