Virat Kohli's favourite Ravi Shastri top contender for Team India Coach

Former team director Ravi Shastri will be the front-runner when the three-member Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) meets on Monday to scrutinise candidates for the high-profile job of Indian men's cricket team coach.,For the record, BCCI received 10 CVs - Shastri, Virender Sehwag, Tom Moody, Richard Pybus, Dodda Ganesh, Lalchand Rajput, Lance Klusener, Rakesh Sharma (Oman national team coach), Phil Simmons and Upendranath Bramhachari .

बीसीसीआई की तीन सदस्यीय क्रिकेट सलाहकार समिति भारतीय टीम के कोच पद के दावेदारों का इंटरव्यू लेगी। दौड़ में रवि शास्त्री ही सबसे आगे दिख रहे हैं क्योंकि उन्हें कप्तान विराट कोहली का भी समर्थन है।
बीसीसीआई को 10 आवेदन मिले हैं, लेकिन समिति सिर्फ छह दावेदारों का ही साक्षात्कार लेगी। इनमें शास्त्री, सहवाग, टॉम मूडी, फिल सिमंस, रिचर्ड पाइबस और लालचंद राजपूत हो सकते हैं। पूर्व दक्षिण अफ्रीकी ऑलराउंडर लांस क्लूजनर को स्टैंडबाय में रखा जा सकता है।
