Microsoft expected to cut up to 3,000 jobs

Bad news for some Microsoft employees: the tech giant is planning to cut up to 3,000 jobs as part of a greater effort to focus on the cloud. The layoffs are expected to occur in the sales force. The most recent quarter saw a jump in revenue for both server products and cloud services revenue (15 percent ) and Azure (93 percent).
