JAY-Z's '4:44' goes platinum in less than a week

JAY-Z's '4:44' has gone platinum a few short days after its June 30th release date. Not only did the album hit 1 million sales to reach the impressive milestone in five days, it managed to do so after only Tidal subscribers and Sprint customers had access to it. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) tweeted the news Wednesday morning.
