Data glitch significantly drops Amazon, Microsoft stock prices

A data glitch Monday evening caused massive changes in Nasdaq-listed share prices, affecting major tech giants. The stock market error set all share prices to $123.47, causing some companies' stock to plummet and others' to increase. Amazon's stocks decreased from $972.79 a share, while Facebook game maker Zynga enjoyed the hike in share price. Nasdaq attributed the error was to improper use of test data.
