Teen birth rates have hit a record low, falling nine percent since 2015. Pregnancies among women between 15 to 19 years old, declined by 65 percent over the last two decades, the National Center for Health Statistics said. To collect the data, researchers obtained birth certificates for 2016. And since 1991, the rate among teens decreased by nearly two thirds.
