Mohanlal with a handlebar moustache that is rugged manliness; add short natural curls, Greek gladiator-like leather sandals and hand grip, a dhothi and a spear — that is Pulimurugan, for you.
'The wait is over,' Mohanlal wrote while unveiling the first look of Pulimurugan, on his Facebook page. The actor has reportedly lost almost 6kg for the character and that is evident in the first look.
In the poster, Mohanlal looks intense like a predator who has his sight set on the prey and is getting ready to launch himself on it — right hand clutching the ground and right leg firmly dug into the soil gathering force, left hand spread like a wing to maintain the balance and left leg placed strategically to give additional thrust for the attack. There can be no better first look for the full-fledged action thriller which is touted to have the highest ever budget in the history of Malayalam movie industry.
According to reports, director Vyshakh has roped in the best of South Indian actors to portray key roles in this upcoming flick. Tamil actor Prabhu and Mohanlal will share screen space again after the 1996 Priyadarshan classic Kalapani.
Peter Hein, the highest paid stunt choreographer of Indian cinema, will also make his Malayalam debut with Pulimurugan.
