Pathemari is the period drama which stars Mammootty in the central role. The movie is written and directed by National Award winner Salim Ahamed. Popular TV host-actress Jewel Mary essays the female lead. Pathemari is produced Allens Media.
Cast And Performance--- Mammootty plays the central character, Pallickal Narayanan. Jewel Mary essays his wife Nalini. Shaheen Siddique plays Narayanan and Nalini's son. The rest of the star cast includes Salim Kumar, Siddique, Balachandra Menon, Joy Mathew, Yavanika Gopalakrishnan, Saju Navodaya, Anu Joseph, Sruthi Lakshmi etc.
Script And Direction--- The movie is written and directed by Salim Ahamed, who made his directorial debut with Salim Kumar starrer Adaminte Makan Abu. The National Award winner is collaborating with Mammootty, after the highly acclaimed Kunjananthante Kada.
Technical Aspects-- Madhu Ambat handles the cinematography. Rasool Pookkutty handles the sound design and recording. Vijay Shankar is the editor. Pattanam Rasheed is the makeup artist. Sameera Saneesh designs the costumes. Songs And Background Score Songs and background score are composed by National Award winning musician Bijibal. It is the first collaboration Bijibal with Salim Ahamed. But he has earlier teamed up with Mammootty several times.
