The parents of a boy from Leeds have been "overwhelmed" after high-profile figures from the world of television, film, music and sport responded to a tweet calling for celebrities to wish their son happy birthday. Tweets posted from Christopher Hope Smyth's account on June 29 asked for anyone "famous/well known" to send their son a "positive/9th birthday message" to counteract the words of a bully.
