US Envoy to Coalition Against Islamic State Visits Raqqa Province

Brett McGurk, the US envoy to the coalition fighting against Islamic State, visited north Raqqa province on June 28.McGurk met with several local leaders of the coalition in the town of Ain Issa, some 50 km north of Raqqa, the Islamic State’s de facto capital, which is under attack by US-backed militias who form part of the coalition.He also met with the council intending to assume the running of Raqqa after its recapture from IS, Reuters said.This video was shared by a Kurdish outlet, Hawar News Agency.
