The streets were closed for Go Skateboarding Day, which is celebrated by thousands of skaters worldwide.The day to highlight eco-friendly transportation took a dark turn when a driver headed straight into skaters. At least three people were struck, two of whom remain in the hospital. Although the driver was caught, it is unclear whether they’ll be charged.
