Tom Holland just confirmed a crazy fan theory about 'Iron Man 2'

Spiderman made his first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 'Captain America: Civil War' but Peter Parker was in the MCU long before that. Tom Holland, who plays Spiderman in the MCU, gave an interview to The Huffington Post in which he confirmed a long-running fan theory that Peter Parker appeared in 'Iron Man 2.' "I can confirm that as of today...Maybe I’ve just done a big, old spoiler, but it’s out there now. It’s cool. I like the idea that Peter Parker has been in the universe since the beginning." If you're confused, in 'Iron Man 2' there was a scene where a little kid gets caught in a fight with a deadly robot. He does his best Iron Man impression before the hero swoops in to save the day. 'Iron Man 2' takes place in 2010, making Peter Parker in 'Spiderman: Homecoming' the perfect age to be that little kid. Well played, Marvel.
