Qatar rejects demands set by Arab states

Qatar rejected a list of demands that were set forth by four Arab nations. Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the UAE, and Bahrain pledged to lift sanctions if Qatar carried out the 13 demands. The country's foreign minister characterized the conditions as unreasonable and unactionable. The four countries urged Qatar to reduce its relationship with Iran and shut down a military base in Turkey, setting a 10-day deadline on Friday.
