The former World Cup winning coach of Team India ,Gary Kirsten has turned down the BCCI's offer as India head coach. He was associated with Team India from 2008 to 2011 and later on became the coach of South Africa. But he refused to continue for long citing personal reasons. Under his tenure Indian cricket reached new heights, so it was only logical for the board to approach him in the time of turbulence.
