In this episode of Check Bandi, Public TV anchor Arun Badiger discusses about the riots due to the injustice caused by the Mahadayi tribunal with Political leaders and Kalasa Banduri Activits & fighters.
The whole of the state had been waiting for the interim order with regard to the Mahadayi water dispute between Karnataka and Goa. The Mahadayi Tribunal passed the judgement in favor of Goa as a result of which lakhs of people have come on streets protesting against the decision. Several farmers and pro-karnataka groups and associations across Karnataka have come together in support of the protest. While most parts of North Karnataka are observing Bandh, the whole of Karnataka has been requested to support the protest and Karnataka Bandh has been called for on Saturday.
