Second mistrial declared in Ray Tensing case

A second mistrial was declared again in the trial of a former Ohio police officer who fatally shot an unarmed black man in 2015. Ray Tensing shot and killed 43-year-old Sam DuBose after the former pulled DuBose's car over near the University of Cincinnati in July 2015. Tensing, now 27, lost his job after body cam footage captured the shooting. He was charged with murder and voluntary manslaughter. The defense argues that DuBose was stepped on the accelerator in an attempt to flee as Tensing's arm was trapped. Prosecutors state that the video shows that DuBose's car wasn't moving until about one second before Tensing fired his gun.
