Going into the NBA Draft, there were many rumors swirling around as players get dealt for draft picks and teams look to move up in hopes of landing that marquee talent. Here are the most notable trades that went down during the draft. Lakers land picks No. 30 (Josh Hart) and 42 (Thomas Bryant). The Jazz acquire the rights to pick No. 28 (Tony Bradley). The 76ers send a first-round pick in 2020 to the Magic for pick No. 25 (Anzejs Pasecniks). The Jazz traded for the No. 13 pick (Donovan Mitchell) and sent Trey Lyles and pick No. 24 (Tyler Lydon) to the Nuggets. Portland snagged pick No. 10 (Zach Collins) from the Kings and sent picks No. 15 (Justin Jackson) and 20 (Harry Giles) to Sac-Town. In the blockbuster move of the night, the Timberwolves received one of the best two-way players in the league, Jimmy Butler and the No. 16 pick (Justin Patton) for Zach LaVine, Kris Dunn and pick No. 7 (Lauri Markkanen).
