Nasty or Niice: Married teacher banned from teaching for life for student relationship

BRADFORD, UNITED KINGDOM — A married 36-year-old high school teacher in England has been BANNED from the classroom for life after she had a 9-month affair with a student, whom she named ‘The A Team.’

In January 2015, Amena Nazam-Khan, who taught at Tong High School in Bradford, sent naked pictures of herself to an 18-year-old student, Daily Star reported.

Calling herself ‘Baby’, Nazam-Khan took the student to hotel rooms and to her home to have sex. The affair lasted until October of 2015, when a tipster broke the news to her superiors about the affair, which she later desperately tried to cover up.

After being suspended, Nazam-Khan dumped her ‘A Team’ guy and told him not to discuss their affair with anyone, and asked him to delete the nudes and text messages she had sent him.

Although the student claimed Nazam-Khan had also given him gifts and bought him meals, a disciplinary investigation dismissed these claims, as they were made shortly after she ended their relationship.

The tribunal said the student was clearly just feeling ‘feeling aggrieved and seeking vengeance’, but they did acknowledge that his grades dropped because of ‘emotional stress’.

In the end, the panel decided to simply ban Nazam-Khan from classrooms for life.
