Spaghetti Eis is a novel German dessert made to resemble a plate of spaghetti. It’s fairly easy to make: Vanilla gelato is put through a spaetzle press, then strawberry sauce is added to resemble tomato sauce and white chocolate shavings top it off to mimic parmesan. The treat was created in 1969 by an Italian immigrant and can be found all over gelato shops in Germany.
