Who is the Best Movie Dad of All Time?

Since Father’s Day is one of our favorite times of year – we decided to take an in depth look at who is the best movie dad of all time.

We think it’s between The Rock’s character in San Andreas. Liam Neeson’s character in all of the Taken films. And Will Smith’s character in The Pursuit of Happyness.

Consider this: The Rock in San Andreas… aka Raymond Gains… actually went on a dangerous journey through California to rescue his daughter in the wake of a terrible series of earthquakes that wrecked havoc on the entire state.

Liam Neeson in Taken … aka Bryan Mills… traveled to Europe and shoots up 35 bad guys in order to get back his kidnapped daughter.

And Will Smith in The Pursuit of Happyness… aka Chris Gardner… literally overcame insurmountable odds to win a life-changing career in order to give his young boy the chance at a better future.

All these dads deserve some kind of praise… but since there can only be on ‘best movie dad of all time’ we picked who we think should be on top.

And unfortunately for Will Smith and Dwayne Johnson, they didn’t win.

We think Bryan Mills easily takes the cake for this coveted title. Not only does he cross the globe, beat up bad guys, and set his daughter free - he repeats it two more times in subsequent films.

If you don’t agree, just let us know.

But we think his role in Taken is the best movie dad of all time.

So congrats Liam.

You earned it.
