RAW: Syrian army resumes anti-ISIS operation in western Raqqa

Syrian Arab Army (SAA) forces resumed an offensive targeting self-proclaimed Islamic State (IS; formerly ISIS/ISIL) positions in proximity of oil fields in western Raqqa, Saturday. Footage shows fighters shelling ISIS locations, with smoke billowing over the skyline, and troops crossing the territory on board of tanks. During the day, the SAA reportedly liberated 14 IS-controlled sites.
