Marin Cilic (CRO), Taylor Fritz (USA) and a few legends are testing the new MXG Racquet

MXG was created through the combination of two materials, 40+ years of expertise and a ground breaking new approach to racquet engineering. Taylor Fritz (USA), one of the next generation, who got his first top 10 win against Cilic this year, describes his impressions on the racquet: “I just liked how it gave you a lot of power but also control… Because usually you just get one or the other. With this racket I felt like you could get both.” Marin Cilic (CRO), current number 7 in the world rankings, sees some more advantages: “The strings are going a little bit more inside and then poppin up the ball that’s why it gives a little bit of extra length. You are using 10 to 15% less energy to produce medium pace balls. So it is good and it can completely change the mindset of tennis players.”
Also the legends Emilio Sánchez (ESP), three times Grand Slam Champion in the men’s doubles category, Ivan Ljubicic (CRO), Roger Federer’s coach, and Goran Ivanisevic (CRO), Wimbledon Champion in 2001, appreciate the new racquet a lot.
The Spanish athlete explains the improvements: “For me it is very nice on the slice. It feels like the ball remains in the racket longer. I am able to drive the ball more easily.” Ivanisevic, retired in 2004, responds to Sánchez: “Also from the back of the court. I don’t hit with too much top spin. I like when I can smack the ball and it remains inside the court. So for the people who can play but maybe not move so well… When you hit flat you can hit a lot of winners. So this is the perfect racket for them.”
