US claims no change of strategy in Syria as Turkey offers Russia to team up

Turkey has offered to carry out joint military operations with Russia, against Islamic State terrorists in Syria.
However, closer ties between Ankara and Moscow could put the U.S. in a difficult position - as Turkey is considered Washington's NATO and coalition ally.
