Trump: Loretta Lynch 'Gave Hillary Clinton A Free Pass'
President Trump slammed Loretta Lynch in a tweet on Tuesday.

After James Comey testified before the Senate, President Trump suggested the former FBI director lied under oath when describing their conversations.
However, Trump has embraced other parts of the testimony, including the comments about President Obama’s Attorney General Loretta Lynch.
The president tweeted Tuesday, “A.G. Lynch made law enforcement decisions for political purposes...gave Hillary Clinton a free pass and protection. Totally illegal!”
Though Comey didn’t go quite that far in his Thursday testimony about Clinton email investigation, he did reveal, “The Clinton campaign, at the time, was using all kind of euphemisms — security review, matters, things like that, for what was going on…And I wanted to know, was she going to authorize us to confirm we had an investigation? And [Attorney General Lynch] said, ‘Yes, but don’t call it that, call it a matter.'”
When asked why he didn’t refuse, Comey responded, “This isn’t a hill worth dying on, and so I just said, ‘Okay.’ The press is going to completely ignore it – and that’s what happened.”
He further noted that his decision to break from Lynch’s suggestion came in June 2016 when former President Bill Clinton met Lynch on an airport tarmac.
Said Comey, “That was the thing that capped it for me, that I had to do something separately to protect the credibility of the investigation, which meant both the F.B.I. and the Justice Department.”
