Bangladesh players have burst into premature celebration ahead of semi final match against India on Wednesday. A video has surfaced on social media in which Bangladeshi players are singing the Bengali version of “We Shall Overcome.” After completing the song former captain Mushifqur Rahim then cheers the key performers for taking them to the semis. It is not the first time Bangladesh players have come up with premature celebrations. The most famous being Mushfiqur’s unusual jump in the air even when they still needed 2 runs to win against India in the World T20, 2016. And as it turned out, Bangladesh lost the match by 1 run and India advanced to the semifinal. So, Bangladesh fans would hope, this celebration doesn’t result into same when the Bengal tigers play formidable India in the second semifinal in Birmingham.
