Ivanka Trump briefly reflected on James Comey's testimony during an appearance on Fox & Friends.
In her Monday morning interview, she said, "my father felt very vindicated...and feels incredibly optimistic."
However, she added that the White House has been more focused on various initiatives relating to infrastructure and jobs.
Reacting to Comey's testimony, President Trump also discussed "vindication," when he tweeted on Friday, "Despite so many false statements and lies, total and complete vindication...and WOW, Comey is a leaker!"
During the hearing, Comey confirmed a number of reports regarding his meetings with the President.
They included Trump’s requests for loyalty and comments concerning former national security adviser Michael Flynn's investigation, “I hope you can see your way clear to letting this go, to letting Flynn go. He is a good guy. I hope you can let this go.”
Trump, however, rejected Comey's account of their interactions during a press briefing and said that he'd be willing to testify under oath about those conversations.
