'Very helpful' Pentagon praises Russia for calming tensions in Syria after coalition airstrikes

The Pentagon has credited Russia with helping to calm the situation in the south of war-torn Syria. Though it comes despite a series of US-led coalition air strikes on pro-government forces in that area.
