Lewandowski Says Comey ‘Wasn’t Man Enough’ To Leak Memos To The Media Himself

President Trump's former campaign manager has questioned the manhood of former FBI Director James Comey based on his testimony to Congress.
Corey Lewandowski has criticized former FBI Director James Comey’s decision to indirectly leak his memos--a move which was discussed during his Thursday's testimony to Congress.
During an interview on NBC's 'Today' show Friday, President Trump's former campaign manager blasted Comey, saying, “He gave his notes to a Columbia law professor because he wasn’t man enough to give the notes directly to the media when he wanted them out to the media.”
Comey had, in fact, admitted during the hearing that he had sent a copy of his memos detailing his interactions with the president to a person he described as “A good friend of mine who’s a professor at Columbia Law School.”
As Comey explained, “...my judgment was, I needed to get that out into the public square. And so I asked a friend of mine to share the content of the memo with a reporter. Didn’t do it myself, for a variety of reasons. But I asked him to, because I thought that might prompt the appointment of a special counsel.”
The professor has been identified as Daniel Richman who the New York Post reports “is a former federal prosecutor who worked with Comey at Columbia in 2013.”
Lewandowski also appeared on ABC's 'Good Morning America' where he continued to criticize Comey for handing off his memos; the Trump ally also accused Comey of being part of an alleged network of federal employees trying to sabotage the government called the "deep state."
