Albuquerque Police Officers Rescue Choking Puppy

Albuquerque Police officers saved the life of a puppy that was choking on June 2, and body camera footage shows the rescue.Officers were in the area to recover a stolen vehicle when they saw a woman panicking, police said in a press release. She told the officers her dog wasn’t breathing and appearing to be choking.Officer Jon O’Guin and Sgt. Jim Edison resuscitated the dog, finding he had been choking on some cheese, which officers dislodged from his windpipe. The dog is expected to make a full recovery.
