Beef Ban: BJP Meghalaya Faces More Resignations

More than 5000 BJP youth workers quit the party on wednesday after the centre's new rules on cattle sale for slaughter in animal markets continued. The leader of the workers, Wilver Greham Danggo, who heads the local BJP youth wing, said the party was trying to suppress the tribal and other beef-consuming communities.
