Political stunt: German far-right MP wears niqab to parliament

The row in Europe over what Muslim women should or should not wear has been seized upon by a member of the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) party. The female MP turned up to a local parliament session wearing a niqab, which fully covered her face and body. Once she arrived in the chamber, she was told to remove her veil before addressing parliament.
