So, this is an interesting video, because I catch some players participating in griefing.
I wanted to do placement so I get some rewards next season. 10 games, I can deal with. So after finishing the skirmish on Route 66, I get a placement game in Hollywood. Half of the team is grouped up together - they are friends, they intentionally screw placement, lie about how you win a game in competitive, and harass me, while justifying throwing the game. They all 1v1 with each other, and refuse to go to the objective. they flat out say "HAHA n00b, you're not supposed to get the objective. You don't know anything about ranked".
I read the official guide, and nothing they said seems to be true.
Final Score : 0-3 Now, I'm not sure if they are gaming the system for more points - e.g. manipulating the scoring values - or if they intentionally wanted to screw with people getting placed. Now, I don't have much to complain, I am not a great player, but this is clearly a massive problem in Overwatch.
Second game, we work like a team, prevent the opponents from securing payload, and then we nail the payload ourselves.
Oh, and yes, you do hear the audio go wonky at the end of the first placement match. This time my computer did overheat. OOPS!
