Military officers patrol the municipality of Tepeaca in central Mexico as gasoline siphoning reaches alarming rates, jumping from 186 illegal operations in 2012 to 2.683 in 2017, increasing tension between security forces and farmers suspected of acting as spies for the fuel smugglers.
