Weekend Box Office, June 2-4: 'Wonder Woman' reigns supreme

Movie theaters across the United States saw large crowds this weekend thanks to 'Wonder Woman' opening nationwide on Friday. 'Wonder Woman' came in hot, posting an estimated $100 million opening, the biggest opening ever for a movie with a female director. The other movie that opened this weekend and made a splash was 'Captain Underpants: The Epic First Movie,' an animated movie that brought in $23.5 million in ticket sales. Rounding out the top five were 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man Tell No Tales' with $21.6 million, 'Guardians of the Galazy Vol. 2' with $9.7 million and "Baywatch' with $8.5 million.
