To ordinary folk, this seems like any other private school. Schoolboys in red, collared T-shirts and long trousers go about their daily routine, playing sports and attending classes.

Take a closer look and you'll see the mostly Malay boys speaking Mandarin in between the odd Arabic phrase here and there. This is the first and only tahfiz school which teaches Arabic and Mandarin.
