Jim Carrey to Face Trial in Ex-Girlfriend's Death

Jim Carrey is probably headed to court.
The 55-year-old is likely to face trial on accusations of supplying the drugs that killed his ex-girlfriend, Cathriona White.
The suit was brought by White’s mother and ex-husband and a Los Angeles judge indicated that she would not throw it out of court.
The Dumb and Dumber star denied all the allegations, and his lawyer called them malicious and predatory… and he even argued in court that the allegations under drugs legislation were likely to fall outside the statue of limitations and said the wrongful death claims were too vague.
The lawyer for White’s mother has urged the judge not to delay proceedings any longer.
A trial date has been set for April 26th of next year.
