Wall Cloud Swirls Above Poughkeepsie, New York

Severe storms in the Hudson Valley, New York, left thousands without power on Wednesday, May 31. Power was restored by Thursday morning, according to a report.The storms also generated a tornado warning, but there were no reports of an actual tornado. Several in the Poughkeepsie area spotted a swirling wall cloud, and images of it were posted to social media. High winds and large hail were reported, and the storms brought down trees and power lines.
