Hillary Clinton jokingly shared her theory regarding the word 'Covfefe' used by President Trump in his tweet.
President Trump thoroughly confused the Internet early Wednesday with his tweet, which read, "Despite the constant negative press covfefe."
While no one seems to know the meaning of the word "covfefe," many have a theory, including Hillary Clinton.
Amid a discussion on the 2016 election and Russia's meddling at the Code Conference in California on Wednesday, one of the moderators asked Clinton about her view on the Trump's covfefe tweet.
Clinton joked, "I thought it was a hidden message to the Russians."
While it's assumed that "covfefe" was just a typo, White House press secretary Sean Spicer disagrees.
In a press conference on Wednesday, when asked about the president's "somewhat of an incoherent tweet," Spicer said, “The president and a small group of people know exactly what he meant."
At the conference, Clinton mocked Spicer's answer, "Ah, the small group explanation. You don't have a high enough classification to know what 'covfefe' means."
