LeBron James's L.A. home vandalized with racist slur
  • 7 years ago
On Wednesday at 6:44 a.m., TMZ reported LeBron James's West L.A. home was vandalized. A racial slur was reportedly graffitied on the gate of the residence, which he purchased in 2015. Throughout James's career, he has spoken out against racism. "Racism, we know, exists. You try not to put yourself in a position, for me as a father, I try to give my kids the blueprint on how life is gonna be. For me, I just try to be respectful, for one, respectful to others, and I feel like if you do that consistently, then I believe the karma will come back to you." The NBA icon was not home at the time of the incident, and the LAPD have not confirmed whether they will use surveillance footage to identify the suspect.
