Lions greeted in New Zealand with traditional Maori welcome

The British and Irish Lions landed at Auckland Airport on 31 March, and were greeted with a 'powhiri' welcome, including a performance of the All Blacks; traditional "Ka Mate" haka. The Lions, who have won just one previous series in New Zealand, will play 10 games on the tour. The tour begins on Saturday (3 June) with a match against a provincial selection side in Whangarei.
