Powerful earthquake shakes Indonesia

இந்தோனேஷியாவின் தென் கிழக்கு பகுதியில் இன்று சக்தி வாய்ந்த நிலநடுக்கம் ஏற்பட்டது. இந்த நிலநடுக்கம் ரிக்டரில் 6.9 ஆக பதிவாகியுள்ளது. இந்தோனேஷியாவின் தென்கிழக்கே சுலேவாசிய தீவில் உள்ள பாலு தீவு பகுதியில் கடலுக்கு அடியில் 130 கி.மீ. ஆழத்தில் சக்தி வாய்ந்த நிலநடுக்கம் ஏற்பட்டது.

An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.9 struck an area 130 kilometres southeast of the Indonesian city of Palu on the island of Sulawesi, the US Geological Survey reported on Monday.
