Nike launches 'rainbow' sneaker line in support of LGBTQ community

Nike's latest "Betrue" collection serves more than one purpose. The rainbow-inspired running shoes intend to show support for the LGBTQ community. "Betrue" was originally launched in 2012 as a internal grassroots movement among the brand's employees. "The key for us was to create something that people could unite around to show their support for LGBTQ athletes," Nike LGBT Network leader Robert Gorman said in a statement.
