A wrong call gives acid faced victim survivor love of her life

Mumbai, May 24 (ANI): It is said that 'love is meeting of two souls' and Lalita Benbansi's wedding on Tuesday eve in Mumbai is surely an example of it. 26-year-old Lalita Benbansi, an acid attack survivor, found her better half from a wrong number call. This was the time when this love story started and after a period of two months and the couple decided to tie a knot. "I am on seventh heaven, I never thought I will get married. One accidental wrong number changed my life," said the bride. "I never thought that one wrong number will change my whole life," said the Groom Rahul Kumar. He further added that, "My wife has a golden heart and that is the quality I like about her." Lalita, a Kalwa resident, was visiting her hometown Azamgarh for her marriage in 2012 when her cousins attacked her with acid owing to personal enmity. Her entire face was burnt. She has since undergone 17 surgeries. Meanwhile, film industry has also come forward to help the couple. Actor Vivek Oberoi will gift her an apartment in Maharashtra's Thane and designer duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla have prepared Lalita's trousseau and presented her a wedding necklace. Moreover, 200 members from Udyami Maharashtra - A business hub of Maharashtra Entrepreneurs along with Saahas Foundation, came together for the cause.
